The Jaguar XJ base engine employs a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with a rear-wheel drivetrain, which generates 340-hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain has a top speed of 121 mph and can go 0 – 60 mph in 5.7 seconds. The estimated fuel economy is 27 mpg of highway driving and 18 mpg in the city. Optional are two 5.0-liter V8s that can produce 470-hp and 575-hp and all-wheel drive.
